Steve has come to the nation's capital from the Midwest as a lobbyist for his fellow farmers, and he wants to fit in more with the politicians on the Hill. And though Jenny admires Steve's down-to-earth qualities, she agrees to help him polish his political skills. Together they're a smashing success. But it's the quiet times Jenny spends with the "real" Steve that she treasures most of all, and with Steve devoting so much energy to the farmers' cause, their quiet times seem to be fewer and farther between.
