In a modern retake of Dickens' timeless classic, Carol has allowed the experiences of her past to shape her into a callous and bitter woman, driven by cruelty, causing pain to others. By the time the spirit of her dead husband finds her, Carol hates everything and everyone. She then encounters her own version of the ghosts of past, present and future. The ghosts take her on a journey to look at her life as she has lived it and where her choices have led her. Carol is shown the truth of her past and the consequences of her actions. She sees how her mean spiritedness affects the people around her, eventually driving an innocent young woman into despair and possibly death. Carol must learn the lessons she needs, in time to fix the errors she's made-before it's too late.
