Cat Kisses and Dog Breath comprises two intertwining stories. One of a prize persian cat that escapes the house for the first time. Her escapades are light hearted, funny and sometime downright dangerous, if you're a cat that is. The dog side of all this is Deefer, a stray bearded collie cross, that arrives on Christmas morning. The family that take him in realise almost at once that this dog is very special, he has a certain gift, an uncanny knack of helping them out, sometimes without them even realising it.
