Caught in a Web of Lies and Deceit: A Granddaughters Journey from Victim to Survivor

Linda Knight lives in Hampshire, England and has been happily married to her loving husband for over 46 years in her own words 'their marriage is the best and she wouldn't swap him for the world.' She has written two novels and a children's poetry book to date and her husband encouraged her to write this book and to get it published. As a couple, they are very close, and family-orientated. They have two lovely sons and daughters-in-law and four delightful grandchildren. Their interest in genealogical research formed the base for the book and research skills gained over many years enabled the many facts, shocking as some of them are, to be verified and evidenced.In more recent years, chronic health problems have given Linda mobility issues and resulted in her becoming immunosuppressive. However, she is a very positive person and despite burying memories of her traumatic early teenage years, she felt the need to publish the truth about her abuse at the hands of those who should have protected her.
