Recenzii
an informative analysis with a remarkable traversal of several research strands... [the book] constitutes an enriching, stimulating analysis with normative thrust that is tremendously relevant for the EU and beyond.
I highly recommend Centripetal Democracy, an ambitious book that informs democratic thought and practice within the EU, but also, I believe, well-beyond. Alice el-Wakil, Acta Politica
[Centripetal Democracy] offers not only an informative analysis with a remarkable traversal of several research strands, it also constitutes an enriching, stimulating analysis with normative thrust that is tremendously relevant for the EU and beyond. Jared Sonnicksen, Journal of Common Market Studies
The book covers a lot of conceptual and empirical ground. It offers a rich analysis of the democratic challenges facing the European Union and a tightly argued case for why democratic legitimacy is important and how it could be achieved. ... this is a stimulating book that deserves to be read by all those interested in the future of the European Union.
