Notă biografică

Tariq Shah is presently working as a research associate in University of Agriculture Peshawar. He Completed his Masters degree from the Department of Agronomy, University of Agriculture Peshawar, Pakistan. He also visited China for research purposes. His research work involves plant stress physiology, plant microbe interaction coping with weather adversity and adaptation to climatic variability. He has published over 16 articles in peer-reviewed journals and 14 chapters. He is currently editing a book entitled Brassica species production under climatic extremes, Springer Beijing. He is a reviewer for more than 10 peer-reviewed international journals and was a recipient of the Elsevier Peer Review Award 2020. He has also organized two national and three international conferences in Pakistan. His ongoing collaboration is with different countries like China, Taiwan, Germany, USA in plant stress physiology. He is also the recipient of different awards from Higher Education Commission.Marcelo Carvalho Minhoto Teixeira Filho has a Masters Degree (2008) and a PhD (2011) in Agronomy from the Faculty of Engineering of Ilha Solteira (FEIS) at São Paulo State University (UNESP). He completed a short-term internship (2017) as Visiting Professor at Plant Nutrition Group, ETH Zürich, Switzerland. Since 2013, he has been Assistant Professor in the Department of Plant Protection, Rural Engineering and Soils (DEFERS) at UNESP where he teaches the discipline of Plant Nutrition. Since July 2018, he has served as editor-in-chief of the agronomic crop journal Revista Cultura Agronômica. He is an associate member of the Brazilian Association of Scientific Editors (ABEC) and current president of the Permanent Research Commission (CPP) of FEIS-UNESP. His research interests include plant nutrition, fertilization, soil fertility, improved efficiency fertilizers, plant growth-promoting bacteria associated with fertilization reduction, Azospirillum brasilense, wheat, corn, soybean, sugarcane, and eucalyptus.Lixiao Nie, Professor, Ph.D. is a supervisor, Crop Cultivation and Farming System, College of Tropical Crops, Hainan University, Haikou, China. He received Ph.D. degree in Crop Cultivation and Farming System from Huazhong Agricultural University, China in 2008. In 2005-2007, he conducted his Ph.D. thesis research at the Philippines-based International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) under the supervision of Drs. Shaobing Peng and Bas Bouman. He then joined Huazhong Agricultural University and worked as a Crop Physiologist from 2008 to 2019. From 2019, he moved to Hainan University. His research mainly focuses on crop simplified and green planting and cultivation. He teaches courses related to plant physiology, and crop cultivation and has published more than 90 papers/chapters in international journals and books. His H-index and RG score are 28 and 35.83, respectively. He served as Editorial Board Member for international journals, Field Crops Research (2018-now) and Scientific Reports (2015-now), and Deputy editor in chief for a Chinese national journal(2020-now). He received "leading talents" and "one thousand talents project" from Hainan Province, China in 2020. In recent years, he presided over four NSFC projects and two National key R & D projects.Rabia Amir, completed her PhD degree from University of Edinburg, UK, and Masters degree from Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi, Pakistan. He got gold medal during her Master and bachelor degree. Her research mainly focuses on abiotic stress signaling in plants. She mainly works on flavonoid synthesis pathways in peanut plants under diverse environmental conditions. She has published many research articles in reputed journals like Nature Biotechnology, Frontiers in Plant Science, Plant Genetics Resources etc. She completed five projects on area of plant stress physiology. She is currently an assistant professor in NUST University, Pakistan and in charge of Plant cell signaling group. She published more than 10 chapters for reputed publishers. She got multiple awards from higher Education Commission Pakistan.
