Neck pain is a common condition seen in the general practice of physiotherapy and occupational therapy. However, appropriate reading materials specifically intended for students therapists are rare. Therefore, this book is aimed to provide a comprehensive textbook for undergraduate rehabilitation sciences students, with the contribution of various experts in different medical disciplines. This book is comprised of five parts. Basic sciences such as anatomy, neurology and biomechanics of the cervical spine is included in Part One. Common pathologies, clinical investigation procedures, diagnostics imaging, surgery and orthotic management of cervical spinal disorders are discussed in Part Two. Occupational neck disorders and sports injuries causing cervical problems are discussed in Part Three, whereas the principles of rehabilitaion of patients with cervical spinal disorders are explained in Part Four. As therapists should be aware of the importance of evidence-based practice, current scientific research areas and outcome assessment of cervical spinal disorders are given in the last part of the book.
