Challenge of the Arrowhead

Autor D. Anthony Watters
en Limba Engleză Paperback
BOOK DESCRIPTION What if it really wasn't a night-mare? What if it was a terrible premonition? Or could it have been a foretelling of horrific things that might be ahead for him and his best friend Herb? Anyway, dreams aren't real, and weird things like that only happen in dreams. The saga begins in the small river town of Rainbow Bend. Two teenage boys plan a wilderness outing, and decide to float the river down to their favorite fishing hole at pristine, secluded Artesian Lake. They have no idea that the trip is to become a dangerous odyssey, intertwined with unimagined perils and surreal events. Located at the Arrowhead area, once territory of the Cherokee tribe, the infamous Arthur Broderick has built an expansive secret compound and is doing scientific research to develop atomic weapons and other instruments of mass destruction. The boys' adult friend and confidant Justice Blackwater, a half-blood Cherokee, told them the Arrowhead is cursed and often warned the boys never to go near Broderick's Arrowhead property. Danny and Herb had no intention of ever going there, but soon realize fate doesn't always give you a choice and that providence and destiny can be overpowering forces. A nostalgic meld of the supernatural, paranormal phenomena, and heart-thumping adventure, Challenge of the Arrowhead offers incredible excitement and entertainment on every page. ____________________________________________________________________________ D.
