Tony Kutter has traveled to Russia over 30 times to teach Russian cheese manufacturers how to make a variety of cheeses. He volunteered for these trips and oversaw the building of cheese plants while there. He also helped newly developed private farms produce quality milk. Over the course of 13 years he met many interesting people who embraced his outgoing personality and accepted him especially because he made an effort to learn their language and customs.
