Every girl, teenager and woman is looking for that special someone that will treat him or her as royalty. After all, we were taught we should be princesses. Every woman's desire is to be treated with dignity and respect. We are looking for our knight in shining armor. One who will rescue us and protect us. What we fail to realize is we have the power to change our own destiny. We do not have to wait for someone else to affirm who and what we are. She won the 1998 Editors Choice Award from National Library of Poetry for her poem entitled" Yellow is My Soul." She is currently listed in Who's Who in Poetry from 1997-2008.
