This is a thought provoking book that reminds children about their responsibility to parents. A tender young child, youth and an adult has the same obligation to honor their parents. This duty, one of promise, is a design by God, and is the bedrock that strengthens families. The example of Jesus on the cross, His tender heart as He sought to have His mother taken care of. Solomon in all his splendor bowed before his mother when she came to his throne. In deep humility he placed a chair for his mother beside his throne. Throughout the pages of the book children are given counsel reminding them of their obligation to their parents. Such a responsibility, if adhered to, would be a part of their legacy.
