The author of this book, Bill Xun Cheng, tells true stories around his living neighborhood and his family in the "Steel Courtyard" in Beijing from his age 6 to 16. There are two classes in China, the Red Axes and their passive followers. The Red Axes destroyed everybody's' dignity and trust on each other, including themselves ones.
