Religion has often been invoked to support and oppose war and violence of all kinds, including terrorism. Christians are deeply divided over whether such violence is justifiable. This book offers a presentation of such controversial standpoints, especially the classical Christian attitudes toward war: crusading or holy war, just war, and pacifism.
