Christmas in Lenoir is a simple little book packed with memories from seniors back in their youth during the 1950's. Lenoir is located at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina. This beautiful little town was once filled with streets lined with shopping stores offering clothing, toys, and miscellaneous items that today are ordered online. Memories are shared of how it was before malls and shopping centers and before internet invaded and destroyed the joy of walking downtown, street after street to shop. Fun decisions were easily made with the freedom of less crime and little or no security threats. The 1950's were privileged years - those to be remembered and cherished forever. Generations to come will never understand those amazing years described by my peers as we have looked back and tried to re-kindle the subtle times which once were "the good old days". As your author, I am blessed to say I have lived in and experienced an era I have since come to assuredly appreciate in this challenging world of war, corruption, immorality, and deplorable sin. Christmas in Lenoir will bring laughter to your heart and most likely will have you wishing those times could once again become reality.
