Recenzii
For all reference collections.
Recommended for all libraries.
Given the ongoing interest in this subject, this work should be added to the reference collections of high school and college libraries.
[A] fine reference book on this important topic. Recommended primarily for large public and academic libraries.
This reference volume is designed to complement The Historical Encyclopedia of World Slavery, but it can stand on its own as an important reference source . . . this volume will probably be heavily used for in depth units on slavery. Recommended.
[T]he most comprehensive work of its type currently available . . . Libraries that already own The Historical Encyclopedia of World Slavery will definately want to add this complementary volume. However, this reference will stand on its own merits and other libraries in need of a worthy chronology on this important topic should consider it.
The title of this useful reference volume does not accurately indicate the range of information it contains . . . it should be immensely useful to students and teachers.
