The purpose of this book is to share a practice-based theoretical framework related to the use of traditional and non-traditional therapies to treat patients with chronic pain. The theoretical framework was developed within the context of a personal philosophy of nursing and other established theories, and professional practice experience to help guide provider care decisions.
