Notă biografică
Valentina Gevorgyan is Assistant Professor at Yerevan State University. Her interest centres on state-society relations, cultural policy and democratisation processes in hybrid regimes. She holds PhD in Political Science from University of Fribourg (Switzerland), and MA in Political Science from American University of Armenia. Previously, she led the Public Policy Research Fellowship with Open Society Foundations (Armenia). Currently, she reads courses on Civil Society and Political Culture at Yerevan State University and University of Fribourg.
Descriere
The book provides an understanding of the three decades of Armenia’s young history – from the perspective of relations between civil society and government institutions. It explores the intricate dynamics between the two entities: by explaining the patterns of relations since 1991 to present.
