An explosion set off by the super villain Nitro leads the US government to introduce a law making the registration of all super heroes mandatory. Super heroes fight each other and cause incredible amounts of damage, and it's only when Captain America realises the extent of the damage done that he unmasks himself and surrenders.

Stuart Moore is a writer, a book editor and an award-winning comics editor. His novels include the New York Times bestselling Zodiac Legacy series (with Stan Lee, from Disney) and Marvel's Civil War. Current and recent comics writing includes Convergence: Superboy and the Legion (DC) and Dominion: Last Sacrifice (Amazon/Jet City); he has also written several original science-fiction projects, including the acclaimed EGOs (Image Comics).
