“The church has a problem that we’re not talking about. I wish a book like this didn’t have to be written, but it does. This is must-reading for anyone who hopes to understand the plague of sexual addiction among clergy.”
--Dr. Matt Whitehead, Superintendent, Pacific Northwest Conference of the Free Methodist Church
“What an incredible tool for navigating the tumultuous waters of clergy sexual misconduct, If you’re looking for strategies of prevention and options for treatment, look no further. This helpful compendium is chock-full of them.”
--Les Parrott, Ph.D.Author of Crazy Good Sex
“A must read for every church member and every clergy person. Ordination
does not make a minister immune to sexual misconduct or compulsive sexual behavior. Unfortunately, the assumed standard that clergy should live perfect lives often keeps them from seeking help or admitting to falling short of perfection. Clergy Sexual Misconduct provides the blueprint for hope and restoration.”
--Milton S. Magness, D. Min., CSAT, Director of Hope & Freedom Counseling Services
“The world's best experts on this subject organize their deepest wisdom and successful remedies. That makes this THE one and only go-to reference for members of the Christian congregational community dealing with issues surrounding clergy sexual misconduct.”
--Mavis Humes Baird, CSAT-S, Contributing writer to Mending A Shattered Heart: A Guide for Partners of Sex Addicts
