1990, a secret media frenzy surrounded my life, blind sided and terrified, I questioned my mother and watched her face turn ghostly white, an eternity passed before she gasps, “Shirley you’re crazy this is all in your head.” When I continued to ask questions, she told everyone, “Shirley is schizophrenic, she believes the television talks to her,” and my mother had me committed to the mental hospital, for my own safety. Weeks later my Grandmother came to my rescue when she gave me the first piece of the puzzle of my life when she reminded me of her father’s name, Joe Sire Kennedy. This one clue began my search for the truth.
