Notă biografică
Cassandra Wiener is a senior lecturer in law at The City Law School, City, University of London. She is an expert in the criminal law on coercive control and advises governments and activists around the world on the doctrinal implications of domestic abuse law reform.
Descriere
This book considers how a phenomenon as complex as coercive control can be criminalised. This work reviews recent domestic abuse criminal law reform in the UK and Ireland. In particular, it defines coercive control, and explains why using traditional criminal law approaches to prosecute it does not work.
