How Does One Measure a Hero?

Within the pages of "Collectanea Creaturae," you will find over 150 creatures for your "Monsters & Magic" heroes to face, ranging from the mundane - bears, wolves, and sharks - to the truly monstrous - demons, titans, and dragons. But these are not simply stacks of hit points for you to whittle down. The creatures within are presented with motivations, social actions, and personality. Your players can try to strike a deal with a goblin trader, negotiate with a centaur tribe, frolic with fauns, or look for a way to lay an unfortunate shade to rest. Further, twenty-four creatures are presented for use as familiars and animal companions for your PCs, and seven new PC races added to those already available in the core "Monsters & Magic" rules.
