Commentary on the letter from the Apostle Paul to the church in Colosse. The apostle penned the letter to counteract the appearance of false teachings that threatened the spiritual future of the church. The church at Colosse appears to have been founded as a result of Paul's outstanding ministry at Ephesus, the effects of which were so influential and far-reaching that "...all they which dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks."
