This work is aimed at students, litigants and researchers of law in general. It briefly explains the beginnings of the fight against money laundering, its development, as well as the agreements of the states in order to combat operations with resources of illicit origin, since it causes considerable damage to society, which directly affects the economy at all levels and, as a consequence, the development of nations.
