Come Fly the Black

Autor David S. Wellhauser
en Limba Engleză Paperback
LOST CIVILIZATIONS, ANCIENT ALIENS, SECRET SOCIETIES, PETRI DISH GROTESQUES, CONSPIRACY THEORIES, IMMORTALITY, DEEP/AlTERNATIVE HISTORY, AND A COLD WAR What do all of these have in common? Iggy Donnel. Hidden away in Flint, Michigan, watching the world from his computer screen as he blogs and hacks his way through a middling income and negotiating his life in a gentle downward spiral Iggy manages, perhaps accidentally, to hack a site on the Dark Web. Knowing it has always been a sketchy area of the Deep Web, filled with drug dealers, sex slavers, assassins, and every other depravity Iggy, nonetheless, needs to do something to secure a future the country appears determined to take from him. He should have known better. Come Fly the Black opens with Donnel hiding in a park as he is chased across Flint. What is wanted of him he doesn't know, but something happened back at his place: his home and a chunk of the neighborhood will never be the same again. Come Fly the Black follows Iggy Donnel, Sofia Jimenez, and Eddy Iff as they race against time to recover his memory, find out what Iggy uncovered on the Dark Web, and what it means for the young Donnel and the rest of the world. Starting in Flint the action follows the trio as they are chased across the globe: from Michigan to The Czech Republic, India, Singapore, China, Korea, Britain, Peru, and Spain in an attempt to discover what an accident has locked up in Iggy's mind. -Can they find out what he knows and put it to use to stop a hot war from breaking out among the Societies? -What are the Societies? -Can they stop those appearing to want this war? -Can they stop radical elements of the Societies from enslaving human civilization? -Is something else going on behind all of this? -And what does H. P. Blavatsky have to do with it?"
