The entries of this Concise Dictionary of New Testament Words have been borrowed and adapted from the author’s AMG’s Comprehensive Dictionary of New Testament Words (2014) and the Dictionnaire du Nouveau Testament (2008).
It includes all the names of people and places as well as more theologically significant common words found in the New Testament. Overall there are more than 1,350 definitions included.
For each entry or sub-entry defining a term, the reader will find the English transliteration of the Greek word, the etymology of the word where applicable, a definition of the common word or meaning of the proper name, paraphrased verses enabling the understanding of the context in which the term is used, and other New Testament references

E. RICHARD PIGEON, PH.D. in Education, was the founder and co-editor for many years of L’Étoile du Matin (The Morning Star), a quarterly Christian publication In French. Additionally, he invested much of his free time over the last four decades leading young adult meetings and home Bible studies, as well as teaching the word of God in his local church. Richard has spent his professional career in the fields of teaching and adult learning and development. He is also the author of the AMG’s Comprehensive
Dictionary of New Testament Words (2014), the Pequeño Diccionario de las Palabras del Nuevo Testamento (2015, also with AMG Publishers), and the AMG’s Comprehensive Dictionary of Old Testament Words (2016).
