This study was written as a diploma thesis what may explain the limitation of the study''s content - within the are of contract law. This book intends to show the main differences and similarities of legal aspects regarding an every-day action in the two quite different law systems (Roman law vs. Common law). The study examines general aspects of legal systems in general as well as specific aspects of contract law in both of the countries.
