Concrete folded plate roofs used to cover large open expanses of space can pose complex design problems requiring detailed mathematical analysis. This book introduces the engineer to practical schemes and practical issues, and goes on to provide multitudes of useful design tables, which suit a large range of folded plate roofs. Design examples using both SI and USA (British Imperial) units are provided.
