Notă biografică
Dr. Buntara Sthenly Gan is currently a Professor in the Department of Architecture at the College of Engineering, Nihon University in Koriyama, Japan. He received his Ph.D. in Structural Engineering from the University of Tokyo in 1994. Previously, he worked for a general construction company in Tokyo, Japan. He is also a registered Professional Engineer (PE) in the United States (Oregon).
Descriere
This book proposes a novel method for plate and shell governing equations based on isogeometric analysis. It outlines a new Recoverable Condensation Formulation: a method to condense the static and dynamic equilibrium equations of plate and shell elements consistently and to revert back to the original governing equations whenever necessary.
