Of all the approaches to counseling, the theory of Sigmund Freud popularly called Psychoanalysis seems to be in the fore front in the sense that it did not only revolutionalize the filed of psychology, but also was the first system of Psychotherapy. Rational thinking results in realistic behaviour and irrational thinking results in worthless behaviour.
