POVERTY HAS MORE THAN ONE FACE. Poverty as a natural condition is normal. Since the Fall of man, the world has been turned upside down and will never be fully right side up until Jesus reigns as King of kings. hence, there will always be people who are currently experiencing a small or large degree of lack or insufficiency. Every family--whether in a developed country such as America or an undeveloped country such as Zimbabwe--has either the real influence or the residue of the spirit of poverty. Poverty is damaging, however, the spirit of poverty is dangerous. The spirit of poverty takes on as many faces as is needed to accomplish the aims for which it has been sent. Many deceived by it and few recognize its seductive, seditious, and subversive tactics against families, communities, and countries.
