My life was lived in a shroud of darkness. I existed in a vacuum filled with sadness, despair, insecurity, and abuse. Long, horrible days gave way to miserable, lonely nights. No one wanted to be me--least of all me. I was on my own. In my world, there was no God. But a string of life-changing events altered my stance. Some might call it blind ambition. Others might say supernatural phenomenon. I call it light proof that God never left me. Despite all the horrors I'd endured, He remained steadfastly by my side.
