Notă biografică
A former marketer by day and undercover artist by night, Shubham Khurana combined his passion for sketching with the inaneness of corporate life when he created the Instagram account @corporatcomics. Initially intended as an avenue to keep up with his art along with his 9-to-9 job, it soon became his coping mechanism by giving him a channel to rant about it. Posting relatable, sarcastic comics about work life for over 5 years, he has grown the account to more than 210K followers.
In 2024, Simon & Schuster India published Shubham's first book, Monday to Friday: A Corporat Comics Collection from the Worst to the Best Day of the Week. He has also been a featured artist in every edition of ComicCon India since 2019.
Shubham grew up in a middle class household in India, thereby always doomed to a corporate future, and currently resides in Singapore. With 14 years as a ‘corporat’ himself, the corporate world hasn’t ceased to amuse him with enough inspiration for his comics every day. He considers himself something of a vigilante, trying to save the otherwise boring corporate world through his comics.
