Projects suitable for a range of abilities—even some that can be made in an evening for those last-minute "gift emergencies"!—ensure it is as fun to make and give as it is to get…just as it should be.

Recenzii

“There are a few basic characteristics to successful ‘gift” projects, as seen in craft books: they need to be useful enough that someone might want them in their home, or attractive enough that someone might choose to wear or decorate with them. This compilation of crocheted offerings fits both … and crocheters might want to gift themselves with some of the items.”—Library Journal

“[Whether] you are a crochet pro or new to this fiber art, you will find great patterns as well as the help you need to get started. Line drawings, step-by-step instructions, and clear photographs will guide you. … The party is this weekend? No worries, there are patterns of all skill levels and some can even be completed in an evening.”—Examiner.com

“[F]illed with thirty different crochet projects that are fun to make and special to give.”—About.com

Notă biografică

Kat Goldin learned to crochet as a child and picked up her hook again in 2007 when her first son was born. A lack of fun and modern patterns led Kat to design her own creations. Passionate about teaching knitting and crochet, she runs "Knit Camp" and "Crochet Camp," online workshops with thousands of participants each session. Her independently released patterns and tutorials have had hundreds of thousands of downloads, and she works regularly for craft magazines, writing columns and patterns for Crafty, Mollie Makes, Simply Crochet, and Inside Crochet. Born in the United States, Kat currently lives on a farm on the edge of the Scottish Highlands with her husband and three children. Visit Kat's website at slugsontherefrigerator.com.
