Crossbow-Isle Volume 3 - The Quest - Part 1

Autor Elensaar Gelindor, Irefenia Salgonda
en Limba Engleză Paperback
Crossbow Isle - The Quest Part 1 The short winter was waning and the snow was melting as Enyana and Y Ddraig Goch flew over the northern regions of Crossbow Isle to find out what the damages that Oqualorak's landslides had caused were. By incident, they found out that one of the main tributaries to the Ardara River was blocked by a massive landslide and a huge lake had formed behind the dam of debris, which was stretching the dams holding capacity to the brink. If it broke, Oqualorak would have accomplished what the Orontai had not been able to accomplish, - to eradicate life in the area of Caradoc Castle and far beyond. After the Trinity of Enyana, Elensaar and Y Ddraig Goch had coped with the danger, they searched the vale for signs of lost lives and found by chance a queerly looking artefact that had been buried long time ago and was entirely out of place in this uninhabited valley. It was engraved with gilded ancient elven script and its material had some surprising properties unknown to anyone as of yet. Just as if by another and quite unlikely chance, another fragment of the same material was falling into their hands along with one member of the oldest races on Crossbow Isle, - a dwarf of the Pjodroerir clan of whom no one, - not even the immortals and elves - had known still to exist and live in the bellies of the northern mountains. That, however, was not the only surprise Crossbow Isle and its mountains held in stock, because now, they discovered that many traces of a long bygone history was about to reveal itself, guiding the curious minds of our friends from one much unexpected discovery to another.
