James Lynch works for the World Bank in Washington, specializing in education projects in least developed countries in Asia. His work on this volume is carried out in his personal capacity. Norman Miller is Silberburg Professor of Psychology at the University of Southern California Celia Modgil is Senior Lecturer in Education and Head of Department of Undergraduate Teacher Education at Goldsmith’s College, University of London. Sohan Modgil is Reader in Educational Research and Development at Brighton Polytechnic.
