This statistic has no face as it crosses every ethnic, social, cultural, and economic boundary. As a nation, we must address this issue immediately because this statistic is rising to epidemic proportions. Daddy, Where Are You? is the first of a series of books where Joe chronicles the internal struggles of this culture. He deals with the ripping scars of abandonment and the lifelong consequences that painfully follow. His challenge to us is to be part of the solution, which is to not only be better fathers, but to reach out and spiritually adopt the fatherless into our hearts.
