Dadgummit: Dreamwalker Mystery

Amateur sleuth Baxley Powell is camping at Stony Creek Lake in north Georgia with her parents, best friend, and daughter, when a young man's body is found with no apparent cause of death. The local police know of her skill at closing unusual cases, and Baxley agrees to help. Her psychic sleuthing leads to a halfway house with eight comatose victims and an odd man named Jonas who escapes, taking the sheriff hostage.
