Teenagers, Taran andTommy are twins and have done everything together - mostly what Tommy wanted to do. Taran feels she has been Tommy's shadow long enough. She has grown up playing sports with her brother and his friends but that didn't make her love them. On the plane to Hawaii she meets Beau Briggs and a spark is lit within her.
