This is Volume 1 of a series of Puerto Rican Danzas for piano by Luciano Quinones, one of the most outstanding danza composers of the 20th and 21th century. Vol. 1 contains the first 13 danzas of this important composer, comprising the years 1977 to 1989. Eleven of these compositions have won prizes in the national competitions.
