Notă biografică
Elaine has a passion for nature and wildlife, sharing her home and surrounding five acres with a wide variety of birds and animals. These include rescue dogs, ex-battery hens, hand-reared geese, and anything else that flies in and decides to stay for a while on one of the two lakes!
Elaine and her husband, Simon, strongly believe that children need to experience wildlife at a young age and have spent many years teaching and guiding their friends' children how to respect nature and understand the life cycle of all birds and animals.
She currently works as an English teacher in an all-girls academy, sharing her other passion - the English language - with students, helping them to realise what an amazing language English is and the incredible knowledge we can gain from reading literature in all its varied forms.
