Notă biografică
Neel graduated from Manchester University with bachelor degrees in Pharmacology and Medicine. He also holds an MSc in Gastroenterology from Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry. Neel undertook his foundation and core medical training in London and maintains a strong interest in medical education. He was appointed Clinical Lecturer at the Centre for Medical Education at Barts in 2011, and is currently a Tutor at the Institute of Medical and Health Sciences Education, Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine, the University of Hong Kong. He is also a member of the Curriculum Development Team for the newly established Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine in Singapore.
Descriere
The ability to interpret and synthesise medical data is essential for doctors, yet it is a skill which can be difficult to master. It focuses on developing this skill by presenting an array of case-based themes considering interpretation of blood results, X-rays, ECGs and CT images in medicine with discussion of evidence-based practice. The concise, list-based text aids easy comprehension and images provide the much needed link from raw data to evidence-based care and management.
