The challenge of managing a water supply system that is intermittent and with high levels of water losses poses water utility managers with a conundrum regarding how to address these. This book deals with the many challenges faced by water utilities in an intermittent water supply situation and how transitioning from Intermittent Water Supply to continuous 24/7 supply can be successfully implemented in a sustainable manner. Issues pertaining to the numerous problems associated with the management and operation of distribution networks under Intermittent Water Supply as well as the critical challenges entailed in transitioning to 24/7 is presented and discussed.
