Descriere
Lucy has been increasingly absent from Hell, leaving Brian to handle things on his own while continuing to develop S.I.N Industries as its CEO. The blossoming success of the business catches the attention of a notorious investigative journalist, Sasha Perrin, who becomes very interested in S.I.N and Brian’s seemingly overnight success from small-time business advisor, suspecting everything is not what it seems. Adding to his workload, a meeting with Gabrielle results in him accepting the responsibility of finding a successor for the mantle of Death before she succumbs to a fatal wound dealt to her during the invasion of Hell. In addition to the dwindling timeline of Gabrielle’s lifespan, unknown forces are plotting against Brian in hopes of destabilizing the balance of existence with Gabrielle’s death. Meanwhile, spending more time alone in the human world, Dahlia struggles with her newfound humanity. Mourning the loss of Dallas and finding herself adrift without purpose, she is approached by Allanah to help her develop a merger proposal between Heaven and Hell to be presented once Brian ascends the throne officially. Using the opportunity to potentially learn more about souls and, in the back of her mind, hoping to find a way to revive her lost brother, Dahlia accepts and begins working for Heaven. Lucy is feeling increasingly displaced in her own Kingdom. With Dahlia living in the human world and Brian taking over the lion’s share of Hell’s operations, she is left to mourn the loss of her son alone, abandoning her responsibilities and further widening the rift between herself and those she cares for. When she finally returns, offering Brian the official title of Ruler of Hell, he turns her down for reasons he can’t explain to her, souring their relationship.

Reviews for The Devil's Advisor:
Positively corrupt and justifiably sinful, Brad’s story is entertaining and inventive. Challenging our indoctrinated understandings of good vs evil, it will have you rooting for the “bad guy” whilst all the while promoting that holiest of ideals, that merit over birthright is the true road to success.
This is a hell of a novel.
Abdul’s brilliance is in his world building. If you liked the TV show Supernatural you’re going to love this
