Delivering the Baby That Was Lost

Autor Lotonia Askew
en Limba Engleză Paperback – 21 sep 2015
Are you being tormented by the spirits that attach themselves to grief? Or have the loss of a loved one, a divorce, a job, or an unwanted illness caused an interruption to your normal life? Dealing with any type of loss, especially something that was precious or a significant part of oneself, can overpower one's emotions, spirit, mental, physical, and social well-being, which can make returning to the daily routine of life impossible. Whether we are feeling like Naomi or Job, in the Bible, not knowing the purpose and plan of God within their storm, it is when we continue to persevere and look to God as our source of strength that we are able to see His will and become victorious over those agonizing spirits associated with grief.

Notă biografică

LOTONIA ASKEW not only shares her personal experiences of the loss of her son, Daniel Darnelle, due to medical negligence, but also shares how the baby is a metaphor for anger, guilt, bitterness, unforgiveness, shame, and emptiness that is relative to the actual loss which could be a death of a loved one, divorce, loss of a job, end of a relationship, loss of home, a rebellious child or anything or anyone that impacted your life. In addition, Lotonia sheds light on postpartum depression along with how she battled tormenting spirits that traumatized her faith in God. However, by moving from a natural operation procedure to a spiritual procedure, she was able to accept what God had allowed just to embrace the process of grief. It was within this spiritual procedure that Lotonia won the battle against those oppressing spirits. Lotonia kept looking up to the Lord for guidance and strength while going through her journey of emptiness until God delivered the baby that was lost.
