Derelict Dreams

Follow two young sisters on a harrowing journey through Las Vegas in a British double decker bus while giant, decaying, advertising signs walk among the hotels and casinos, and horrific gangs force the end of civilization. This is an illustrated novel in two editions: one is a paperback with black and white illustrations, and the other is a large hardback with full color illustrations. The illustrations are works of art themselves, showing a wild vision of Las Vegas and surrounding areas during a pandemic.

Why are the walking signs here? Will anything remain worth living for? The girls must fight the gangs and find a way to survive. This unique, illustrated drama/adventure takes place in a declining Las Vegas, on empty streets, in unusual situations, all told through the eyes of an eleven year old girl.
