An escaped clone must avoid being captured by his cloner, who is terminally ill and needs to harvest organs immediately. He is pursued by a hired mercenary as well as the members of a Moralist movement bent on freeing clones and wreaking havoc on the entire industry. When some of the freed clones are discovered to have been genetically engineered to produce extraordinary abilities, a Pandora's box is opened that changes the equation for all concerned. An intergalactic chase unfolds that includes assistance for the clone from some very unexpected sources leaving his survival uncertain and forcing him to choose between his own survival and the fate of his friends.
