David Betge studied Political Science at the Freie Universität Berlin. He graduated with a study on the South African land reforms and finished his doctorate at the Otto Suhr Institut of the Freie Universität Berlin.
Descriere
This case study on inequalities in India and South Africa focuses on land reform politics, their determinants and their effects on the poor and on agricultural and economic development. An institutionalist approach combined with discourse analysis provides a coherent picture of the institutional setting and the norms and interests driving actors.
