Comprising German-language writers of particular significance for 20th century literature, the Deutsches Literatur-Lexikon. Das 20. Jahrhundert continues, supplements and expands the information provided by the Deutsches Literatur-Lexikon. Special emphasis has been put on German-language literature written by migrants and emigres: the dictionary lists German-language emigres as well as foreign-language migrants living in German-speaking areas who also publish in German.
