This volume publishes papers from a 2008 symposium celebrating 50 years of the Corpus der Minoischen und Mykenischen Siegel. After an introductory section looking at the CMS, its history and future direction, 28 papers look at a wide variety of issues related to the study of Aegean glyptics, including dating, iconography and meaning, and their importance in the study of exchange and diplomacy, as well as publishing and analysing new finds. 23 papers in English, 7 in German, 2 in French
